National Neighborhood Day

Sunday, Sept 18 is National Neighborhood Day! There will be a sidewalk sale from 9am-noon on 3rd Street between Alice & Madison. Cost to sell items is $5 to help cover the cost of advertising. Sign up in advance at Jack London Mail (248 Third St @ Alice). Afterwards, there will be a FREE neighborhood BBQ from 12:30pm-2:30pm. Just RSVP your sending your name, address, & number of guests to rsvp_at_jacklondondistrict.org. Be sure to let us know if you prefer veggie burgers so that we have enough. (Oh, and if you want to donate some money to help out, we'll gladly take it!)
Wednesday, Sept 28 Jack London Mail is sponsoring another night of A's baseball to raise money for the Jack London District Association (it takes lots of money to pay for the free BBQ's!). The A's are playing the Los Angeles Angels at 7:05pm, and tickets are on sale **NOW** at Jack London Mail for $18 (plaza level - great seats!). Sorry, cash only. For every ticket sold, $4 will be donated to JLDA!
