Notice Posted Today to Prevent Attempted Construction of a Door in First Floor Hallway.

The attached notice was posted today to warn contractors/ construction workers to stop planned efforts to construct a door in the first floor hallway. The notice has been posted. This issue will be an agenda discussion at the board meeting of November 15, 2004. If you see workers on the first floor, call Collins Management.

NOVEMBER 8, 2004

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

A DOOR IS REPORTEDLY BEING INSTALLED IN THIS AREA. THIS WALL IS PART OF THE COMMON AREA OF THIS BUILDING. SUCH CONSTRUCTION IS NOT AUTHORIZED OR APPROVED BY THE 247 FOURTH STREET OWNERS’ ASSOCIATION, WHICH ACTS ON BEHALF OF ALL OWNERS OF THIS BUILDING.

ANY EFFORT TO OPEN THE WALL IN THIS AREA WILL BE CONSIDERED A TRESPASS.

ANY ATTEMPT TO OPEN THE WALL IN THIS AREA WILL BE REPORTED TO THE LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT, TO THE CITY BUILDING INSPECTION DEPARTMENT, AND TO THE CALIFORNIA CONTRACTORS’ STATE LICENSE BOARD.
