What's new at Jack London Mail? LOTS of new stuff to report! Pass it on!
- New employee - Michelle Augenstein has been here almost a month and is still getting to know everyone. We especially love it that she lives here in the neighborhood. (Great commute)
- Register to vote - If you haven't already registered to vote, we've got registration forms here. (free, of course)
- Candles - Made by Bluewick, these soy candles produce less toxins than traditional parafin candles. They come in two tin sizes and six scents. Stop in and smell the candles! ($4.99 & $8.99 - great gift idea)
- Olympic Stamps - Actually, we have a huge selection of stamps, and yes, we sell them for $1.10 more than they cost at the Post Office. However, we have a bigger selection and we're nicer too. (support your local merchants!)
- Greeting cards - New and improved selection of greeting cards. Send one to a friend today just because you care. (psst, there are some great Bush cards that will make you laugh)
- Toilet Paper - Nope, we're not going to carry milk or paper towels, but we found some toilet paper that will make you laugh. A bit on the pricey side at $7 per roll, but we're going to donate $1 of each sale to Oakland Fund for the Arts. (psst, it's a bit political and I don't want to offend anyone, but you can check it out online at http://www.piehole.net)
- Recyling - Alright, not new, but just a reminder that we accept styrofoam peanuts, used cell phones, and used toner/ink jet cartridges for recycling.
