New Building at 300 Harrison

Signature Properties has just purchased the vacant lot at 300 Harrison (north side of 3rd Street between Harrison and Alice) at the heart of the Waterfront Warehouse District. They are planning to construct a 91-unit condominium project on the lot, starting early next year (2005). The site has already been approved for 91 condos, so there will be no further public review of the project (unless significant changes from the approved project are proposed).
Signature Properties' Mike Ghielmetti has offered to meet with SoNiC and show us drawings of the proposed building. Although there will be the same number of units (91) and the same number of off-street parking stalls (117), the building will be a few feet shorter (about 65' rather than 68') and there will be no need for pile-driving.
