These images were shot with my digital camera. The results are not too bad, but I am trying to get my hands on the original digital files used to create these beautiful signs. If I do, I will definitely post them here!

The Historical Photos/Garbage Can Project was handled by Wilda White and Peter, the architect, with others in JLNA. I'm not sure any of them are still around.
I thought the original photos came from Oakland Tribune archives.
Joanna Adler, the Jack London Mail lady, or Gary Knecht, might be able to help.
We definitely have large prints on paper, plus photo negatives and there's probably a CD kicking around. Its all in storage so I'll take a look next time I'm there. Stay tuned.
I have requested the files from Peter Birkholz. He needs to check on whether there are any legal issues regarding sharing the trash can digital photos and wording. He seems willing to share if there are no legal rights problems.
